Guess Who Fainted In Public

Twice.
And was then carried bridal style out of said public location, almost escorted to the first aid booth, and gave all the people there a good shock?

That's right, low blood pressure, anemic tendency girl, me.

Day: December 28th, 2008 around noon

Location: Lima, Peru in the pirated goods mall, no joke it's like a mall full of booths of pirated things.

Situation: grandmother is arguing as usual with the lady at one of the counters about something or rather while my mother and I flip through the movie catalogue.

Contributing Factors To Fainting: there is noise everywhere in the establishment coming from every booth from tvs, radio, cd players, people, you name it. Lack of air, very hot.

I suddenly don't feel very good, well, worse than I was feeling before. Thankfully I grab hold of my mother, and I begin to get spotty white vision, I can't see, I know what's coming (I am an expert on fainting by now). Out I go. I dreamt something that I can't remember at the moment but I think it had to do with staying home rather than going out and thinking how that would have been better or something. Anywho, I awaken and I am now in a hair having alcohol rubbed with a towel over my face. The lady is freaked an runs to get me water. I am way out of it and covered in a cold sweat. My mom asks me several time if I want to go outside to get fresh air and go to the car. I finally say yes even though I feel weak, like puking, and have horrible stomach pains/ cramps.

I begin to walk towards the exit supported by my father. My mom grandma and grandpa go to pick up the other movies. A couple steps in my vision gets spotty again I can only see outlines, it would be best to mention that the first time not that many people saw me faint. Anyways I can't see I have shooting pains in my stomach I grab onto my father and I'm out to start crying and I'm out again. I come to to realize I'm being carried bridal style out of the mall and people are staring, my hair is plastered to my forehead, I'm covered in a cold sweat, and there are people asking I I need I be taken to the infirmary. Here cones my mom and grandfather, i'm too out of it to be mortified of the crowd watching, hello spectacle. It's like things are happening but I'm not really there, like an out of body experience type thing. We finally make it to the car.

More people on the street are watchig as I look like a mess with my hair sticking out everywhere and my clothes rumple and in pain. I get in the back seat and my mom and grandpa go to try to find my grandmother who always know best and has deemed this not serious enough to end the excursion.

My father I pissed, still no sign of grandma. I'm in the backseat writhing in pain with waves of intense stomach pains coming and going. I wants to die, it was absolutely awful. I was beyond crying, I was in a state if deserperation wanting it to stop already.

I'm quite sure at one point I even asked god and all the saints to make it stop. It was a very unatheist moment. Ha.

After a god long while of having street vendors state at the crazy girl writhing in pain in the back seat of a car my grandmother, grandfather, and mom finally show after having dragged my grandmother angrily out of the mall.

We get home, the whole way home spent with me in pain until the stomach pangs ebbed away listening to my grandmother go on and on about how the exact thing happened to her when she was younger and not thinking this was concerning at all. Oh of course not, two consecutive faints and intense stomach pains, nothing to abandon ones movie quest for, right.

Anyways we got home and I spent the rest of the day dead on the couch feeling like death with no energy eating pretzels and full sugar coke watching top one hundred music videos of 2008 , if anyone cares, 30 seconds to mars won for beautiful lie and mgmt had 100th place with electric feel. I worry about Latino music taste.

This was probably one of, if not the worst day of my life.

The end.
