I completely agree.
I recommend the book, but it's really much more worthwhile in french.
I've read the English, Spanish, and now French versions.
French definitely is the best, which comes as no surprise as this is its original language.
It's a beautiful book, laced with hidden meanings and philosophies.
So basically, learn French to a proficiency, and then read this wonderful book.
